Description
Will support machine shop production by providing certified welding services. Will weld aluminum, stainless, and steel. Will operate welding equipment, lay out and mark weld points, position components to be welded, and fabricate holding fixtures as required. Will debur, polish, and finish assemblies as required.
Experience/Skills
Must be AWS certified and have six to eight years experience welding assemblies. Must be able to weld to mill specific AMS-STD-2219 and MIL-SPEC-2219. Must be able to read and follow work instructions and manufacturing drawings, able to wear respirator and welding equipment including hood and shield. Must be able to stand for 8 – 10 hours per day and lift up to 20 to 30 pounds at one time.
